Beit Logistics to Build Green Logistics Hub in Safaga with EGP 500 Million Investment

In a significant boost to Egypt’s logistics infrastructure and regional trade ambitions

Beit Logistics has signed a landuse agreement with the Golden Triangle Economic Zone

Authority to develop a state-of-the-art Integrated Logistics Center in Safaga, with an initial

investment exceeding EGP 500 million The landmark project aims to transform Safaga into

a strategic logistics hub serving Upper Egypt, the Red Sea region, and beyond, aligning with

Egypt’s national vision for sustainable economic growth and environmental responsibility

A Strategic Logistics Investment in Egypt’s Golden Triangle

The new Safaga Logistics Center will span 15 feddans (approximately 65,000 square meters)

and represents the first major private-sector logistics investment in the Golden Triangle It is

designed to support Egypt’s growing import-export activity while facilitating green supply chain operations

Key Features of the Safaga Integrated Logistics Center

Beit Logistics is developing the center as a model of green logistics infrastructure

equipped with modern systems and sustainable technology The facility will include

16,000 m² of covered warehouses, 18 meters high, with a handling capacity of 1 million tons annually

A 50,000 m² container and general cargo yard, capable of handling 100,000 TEUs per year

An administrative and control center with advanced CCTV systems and environmental monitoring

A container repair and maintenance station compliant with global standards

A digital logistics management platform for real-time inventory and operations tracking

A low-emission transportation fleet powered by clean energy sources

The project is expected to generate approximately 350 direct and indirect job opportunities

for residents of the Red Sea Governorate, in addition to establishing a training center to build

local capacity in logistics, safety, and supply chain operations

Supporting Egypt’s National Logistics and Export Strategy

According to Eng Medhat El Kady, Vice Chairman of Beit Logistics

This project is a direct response to Egypt’s vision of empowering the private sector and building

a sustainable logistics infrastructure The Safaga center will strengthen Egypt’s position as a regional

trade and logistics hub, connecting Upper Egypt with the Red Sea ports and global supply chains.”

A New Era of Green Logistics in Safaga

Beit Logistics As part of its commitment to sustainable development, Beit Logistics has ensured that the new

facility will adhere to international green building standards (EDGE certification) and operate using

solar energy to reduce carbon emissions contributing to Egypt’s transition toward a low-emission

economy The Safaga Integrated Logistics Center complements the development of Safaga Port

and integrates with the Ministry of Transport’s national logistics network, reinforcing Egypt’s trade

competitiveness in the region
