LG and Mercedes-Benz Deepen Collaboration to Advance Next-Generation Mobility Technologies

met with MercedesBenz AG to discuss expanding cooperation under the “One LG Solution

strategy—an initiative designed to unify the technological strengths of LG Group affiliates and

reinforce their leadership in the global automotive components market

The meeting was held at LG Twin Towers in Yeouido, Seoul, during the visit of Ola Källenius

Aligned with this vision, the four LG affiliates showcased their cutting-edge innovations in

EV components and battery technologies

Automotive OLED and P-OLED displays

Autonomous driving sensors, including LiDAR, Radar, and next-generation camera modules

These solutions highlight LG’s goal of strengthening integration across mobility technologies through

the One LG Solution framework

Ongoing Collaboration Across Software-Defined Vehicles, Displays, Batteries and Sensors

LG Electronics has long partnered with Mercedes-Benz on core systems for software-defined

vehicles, such as in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) platforms and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS)

A notable achievement is the OLED-based panoramic IVI system co-developed for the Mercedes-Benz EQS

featuring a curved display spanning the entire dashboard—an industry-leading example of immersive

in-car screen technology
