United Brothers Unveils Ambitious 2026 Growth and Export Strategy

United Brothers Engineering Industries, the parent company of Siltal, has announced
a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy for 2026, aiming to boost sales by 30%
and expand its footprint in international markets
Expansion in Africa: Launch of Siltal Africa in Senegal
Dr. Hatem Raslan, Chairman and Managing Director of United Brothers Engineering Industries
emphasized that 2026 will mark a pivotal phase for the company, coinciding with the full operation
of its new Senegal factory, branded as Siltal Africa This strategic move is designed to strengthen
Egypt’s industrial presence in Africa, particularly in West Africa, a region currently lacking formal
trade agreements with Egypt The inauguration of the first phase of the Senegal factory was attended
by both the Egyptian Foreign Minister and the Senegalese Minister of Trade and Industry The company
is positioning itself as a leading supplier across multiple African markets, including Sudan, Libya, Mauritania
Gambia, and Senegal, while also exporting to Yemen, Morocco, Dubai, Sutton Island, Zimbabwe, Cape Verde
and Guinea-Bissau

Record Exports and Production Growth
By September 2025, United Brothers successfully exported over 17,000 units
representing 20% of its total production The company’s annual production capacity
reaches 120,000 units, and it plans to increase export share to 30–35% in 2026
Dr. Raslan highlighted that the company focuses on providing high-quality, cost-effective
appliances for the Egyptian market, targeting consumers who seek value for money, particularly
in appliances for second homes that do not require constant operation

Expanding Product Lines: Refrigerators, Deep Freezers
With a legacy dating back to 1985, Siltal initially launched in 10th of Ramadan City
before relocating to October City The company currently operates production lines
dedicated to refrigerators and deep freezers (De Frost), offering 12 refrigerator models
5 horizontal deep freezer models, and 2 vertical models United Brothers recently began
producing desert air conditioners in 60, 80, and 100-liter models, expanding its portfolio
under the Siltal brand The company is also pursuing new projects as part of its broad
expansion strategy to meet regional and international demand
Full In-House Manufacturing Ensures Quality and Innovation
United Brothers relies on fully in-house production, allowing complete control over product
quality and rapid development of technical innovations This approach ensures continuous
improvement of products to meet customer needs The company holds three ISO certifications
covering quality, manufacturing, and safety Recent upgrades to refrigerators and deep freezers
enable them to operate efficiently even during power fluctuations, making them suitable for
export to multiple international markets

Strategic Marketing Partnership for 2026
To implement its 2026 sales and marketing plan, United Brothers has partnered
with Big Bite Marketing and Communication Company, which will develop and execute
a strategy to expand the company’s reach to new markets within Egypt and abroad
