Cityscape 2025 Features the Women in Real Estate (WiRE), Highlighting Women’s Empowerment and Strategic Wealth-Building

As part of the Cityscape 2025 events, a strategic panel discussion was held under the title “Building your real estate investment portfolio 101” The session was part of the Women in Real Estate (WiRE) track, which spotlights women’s leadership in shaping the real estate sector.

The panel brought together prominent female leaders from Egypt and the region: Alia El Nagdi, CEO of Mint for Real Estate Asset Management; Maha Abdelrazek, CEO of Misr for Real Estate Asset Management; Maha Baligh, Group Director of Customer Insights and Marketing Intelligence at Orascom Development Holding.

The discussion was moderated by media professional Marwa El-Haddad.

The panel reflected the growing sophistication of investment awareness in the Egyptian market, where real estate is no longer just about buying units but about intelligent risk management, thoughtful sector and location diversification, and the adoption of analytical and digital tools to maximize long-term value.

 

The speakers presented a holistic vision for building balanced, attractive real estate portfolios capable of drawing both local and international capital.

Alia El Nagdi emphasized that real estate investment today is more diverse and dynamic than ever before, noting that it is no longer limited to location but relies on smart diversification across residential, commercial, administrative, and hospitality sectors to achieve risk-return balance.

 

She stressed that deep financial analysis and an understanding of market trends and transformations are now pillars of any successful investment strategy.

Maha Abdelrazek highlighted that professional asset management has become a key factor in maximizing returns and preserving asset value over the long term. She affirmed that applying governance and transparency standards boosts investor confidence, particularly among foreign investors—and strengthens Egypt’s position as a competitive regional investment destination.

 

She added that innovative asset management solutions now enable investors to achieve sustainable returns even amid global economic uncertainty.

Maha Baligh pointed out that in-depth data and customer behavior analysis have become essential for shaping investment strategies. She explained that leveraging digital analytics tools allows investors to identify promising destinations and monitor market needs in real time, leading to more competitive portfolios.

 

She stressed that technology and data are no longer just support tools but key drivers of brand value and developer and investor success.

The panel went beyond financial and operational topics, also shedding light on the growing role of women in leading real estate investment strategies.

 

The panelists embodied a model of female leadership capable of crafting innovative visions that support sustainable growth and strengthen Egypt’s position as a promising regional market.

Cityscape Egypt 2025 continues until September 27 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in New Cairo, featuring over 80 local and international developers showcasing more than 1,000 diverse projects, including residential, commercial, and administrative units, as well as smart and sustainable city developments.

 

This year’s edition also marks the launch of a new international pavilion with global developer participation.
