to supporting Egyptian youth innovators through enhanced collaboration with Enactus

transformation, marks International Youth Day by renewing its strategic partnership
with Enactus This alliance aims to equip young university entrepreneurs and social
innovators in Egypt with essential skills, resources, and opportunities to lead the energy
transition and contribute to a sustainable future
As part of the Youth Impact Through Learning initiative, Schneider Electric offers lifelong
learning programs focused on future-ready skills This initiative empowers youth to play
an active role in accelerating Egypt’s clean energy transformation and sustainability efforts
Impactful Programs: Enactus Core and Battery Innovation Challenge
For the second consecutive year, Schneider Electric has supported the Enactus Core
Program, engaging more than 63 university teams, with 30 teams competing in the
national competition Over 55 Schneider Electric volunteers provided expert mentorship
while 21 mentors guided teams through project development, and 25 judges evaluated
the best business solutions This program has successfully empowered 9,242 university
students, inspiring entrepreneurial thinking and innovative sustainable solutions to address
pressing local challenges Additionally, the newly launched Enactus Battery Innovation
Challenge tasked 14 university teams with developing clean technology applications using
eco-friendly battery innovations. With guidance from four Schneider Electric mentors
and comprehensive technical training, participants created prototypes aimed
at benefiting underserved communities Three winning teams demonstrated strong
potential for real-world impact, positively affecting over 3,000 beneficiaries
Global Reach of Schneider Electric’s Youth Education & Entrepreneurship Program
These achievements are part of Schneider Electric’s global Youth Education & Entrepreneurship
program, established in 2009 and supported by the Schneider Electric Foundation The program
has reached youth in over 60 countries, training one million young people in energy
management ahead of schedule, according to the Schneider Sustainability Index (SSI 11)
In the Middle East and Africa, over 106,405 youth have been equipped with technical, digital
and entrepreneurial skills, alongside climate awareness and innovation leadership
contributing to a greener, more inclusive economy
