Sources inside the club confirmed that Ribeiro expressed full confidence

in Omar Kamal’s abilities, assuring the player of a strong chance to play

regularly, on the condition that he continues to work hard and perform well

Fierce Competition with Mohamed Hany Expected

TV analyst and former goalkeeper Ahmed Shobeir recently revealed

that Omar Kamal had been very close to leaving Al Ahly at the end of last season.

However, Ribeiro’s belief in Kamal’s potential tipped the scales in his favor.

Shobeir added that Mohamed Hany will face intense competition for a starting

spot, as both players possess high technical quality and experience, making the right-back

position one of the most competitive roles in the squad.
