Annabelle Doll Missing Was It a Coincidence or a Curse

Written by: maryem osama

Fear and speculation have gripped social media following claims that the infamous Annabelle doll—widely

believed to be one of the most haunted objects in existence—has mysteriously vanished

during a paranormal exhibit tour across the United States.

The doll, which has long been sealed behind glass at the Warren Occult Museum in Monroe,

Connecticut, is currently being featured in the nationa

l “Devils on the Run” tour. But during a recent stop in Louisiana,

visitors reported that Annabelle was nowhere to be seen

, sparking widespread rumors and conspiracy theories.

Just days later, a fire broke out at the historic Nottoway Resort in White Castle,

Louisiana—the largest sugarcane plantation in the state—fueling online speculation

that the doll’s presence had something to do with the incident.

Authorities ruled out any supernatural cause and confirmed no injuries, but many were not convinced.

“Three days ago they moved Annabelle from Connecticut to Louisiana,

and now the plantation burns down and 11 inmates escape from prison?

That’s too much of a coincidence,” one user posted on social media.

Despite the panic, the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR) has responded to public concerns.

Lead investigator Dan Rivera released

a video from the Warren Museum, showing Annabelle still locked inside

her signature wooden case.

“Annabelle is not missing,” Rivera clarified.

“She’s exactly where she’s supposed to be

.”Still, online users remain divided.

Many continue to argue that moving the doll violated the long-held warning

by Ed and Lorraine Warren—“Never move Annabelle from her case.”

For now, the mystery remains: Is Annabelle still under lock and key?

Or has something been set loose?
